Neal Bird comes to Sun & Fun Media with over 30 years of syndication, marketing, and promotion experience.
While in high school, Neal got a job with MCA Records in its publicity department and from that moment on, he knew he wanted to work in the radio / music industry.
After graduating from San Diego State University in 1987, Neal worked for Bullet Productions selling the BB King Blues Hour and the countdown program “Highlights”. From there, Neal joined the Album Network Broadcast Department where he sold the weekly “In the Studio” program and worked on countless world premiere specials (when you could still truly say it was a “world premiere”), and tour specials with some of the biggest names in the business. From there, Neal joined Westwood One where he spent over 11 years in affiliate sales selling, as well as running the Music & Entertainment Division and other tent-pole Backstage events.
Neal resides in Los Angeles, CA and has three daughters – Nicole, Olivia, and Rachel.
